SC: Ayodhya Hearing Scheduled on 14 March

The Supreme Court Bench of Chief Justice Dipak Mishra, Justice Abdul Nazeer and Justice Ashok Bhushan, scheduled the hearing of appeals arising out of the 2010 Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid Dispute for 14 March.

Tushar Mehta, Additional Solicitor General, submitted before the bench that 504 exhibits, including books and translations of Ram Charitra Manas and the Bhagwad Gita have been filed. The reports of Archaelogical Survey of India, the text as well as photographs have been brought on record.

The bench directed the Registry to make available the copies of the videos to the advocates of the parties to the appeal at cost per copy. The bench also allowed the Interlocutory Applications of the parties to the appeals for exemption, filing of documents, exhibite before the Allahabad High Court,substitution and condonation of delay. The Apex Court also ordered for filing of volumes serial wise.
