Dr Rhishikesh Dave

Dr Rhishikesh Dave has about 15 years of experience in Legal Education. He completed his LL.M with specialization in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Laws securing 2nd rank in the University. His doctoral research (PhD) was on the subject of the concept of Sovereign Immunity and International Criminal Law. He was awarded Doctoral Scholarship by The Hague Academy of International Law. He has vast academic and administrative experience. His areas of interest are Human Rights, International Humanitarian Laws, Conflict of Laws, Criminal Law and Law of Evidence, His academic career spanning more than a decade has seen him working as Assistant Professor at Gujarat National Law University and later on Registrar of the same University. Before joining Marwadi University Dr. Dave served as Dean, NMIMS University School of Law and prior to that as Dean, School of Law at Galgotias University. He was also Area Head, Criminal Law Department of Law and Academic Coordinator at Institute of Law, Nirma University for 3 years. He has organized various  Moot Court Competitions, Workshops, Conferences, Seminars etc. He was also the Faculty Advisor, Centre of International Humanitarian Law Studies, ILNU. He has conducted various workshops with National and International Agencies and has also been judging Moot Court Competitions; Inter American Human Rights Moot Court Competition, Hong Kong Red Cross Moot Court Competition to name a few. He has lots of National and International publications to his credit. Dr. Dave has joined Marwadi University with a mission to provide a world class Law School in the Saurashtra Region.

Prof. Dr. Hari Mohan Mittal

Dr. H.M Mittal completed his graduation in Law from University Law College University Rajasthan Jaipur. His area of research is Labour and Industrial Law. He was awarded Ph.d. in1989 by University of Rajasthan Jaipur.

He joined as Assistant Professor ,Department of Law, University of Rajasthan Jaipur in 1988 and retired as Principal from University Law College University of Rajasthan Jaipur in 2015. After his retirement he joined Amity University Manesar, Gurugram. He is currently professor and Dean in Dr.K.N.Modi University Newark.

His book on Public Interest Litigation Legal aid and legal services has been awarded National award by Ministry of Law Justice and Company Affairs New Delhi.

Prof. Raj K Sandhu

He is working as Assistant Professor in Law in the Department of Law at University of Jammu, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), India from 2011 onwards. Prior to this assignment, he was working with one of the leading law firm in India.

He had completed his post-graduation (MBA-LL.M Dual Degree Integrated Course) in Law and Management from National Law University, Jodhpur (2007-2010) and BA-LL.B (Dual Degree 5 Years Integrated Course) from Department of Law, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (2002-2007). He had completed C.S (Professional) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi (2010). Presently he is pursuing Ph.D from Department of Law, University of Jammu in the subject area “Competition Law in India: A critical study from developing country perspective”.

He is teaching Public International Law, Law of Contract, Taxation Laws and Company Law to students of LL.B course and Environment Law to LL.M course students.

Mr. Md Nizam Ashraf Khan

Mr. Mohammad Nizam Ashraf Khan is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of law, Galgotias University.

He has done graduation (B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from Lucknow University, Lucknow and masters in Law (LL.M.), with Business Law as area of specialization, from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (C.G.), one of the premier law colleges in the country. He is pursuing Ph.D. from School of Law, Galgotias University on the topic ‘Goods and Services Tax: An analysis of the Indirect Tax Reform in India’. He has the teaching experience of 6 years and 6 monthsduring which he was also associated with Institute of Law, Nirma University. His areas of interest include Intellectual Property Rights and Taxation Law.He has a keen interest in legal research and has published various articles in reputed and referred journals in various areas of law. He has been associated with various student and faculty development programs. He has presented papers in national as well as international conferences and seminars. He is also having vast administrative experience such as program chair for under graduate courses in School of Law, Galgotias University, Coordinator for Centre of IPR Studies and Editor of Galgotias Journal of Legal Studies. He has organized various International and National Conferences and Moot Court Competition in School of Law, Galgotias University. He has also been judging various moot court competitions. While being associated with the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Mr. Khan had been engaged in various administrative roles and had been entrusted with such positions of responsibility. He was the Faculty Advisor of the Moot Court Committee and organizing secretary of 3rd ILNU International Moot Court Competition 2014 at Institute of Law, Nirma University.

Dr. Bhavani Prasad Panda

He graduated in LL.B from Lingaraj Law College, Berhampur, Orissa in 1979. Thereafter he went on to pursue higher studies in different disciplines of law.

Prior to his present designation, Prof. BP Panda has held 16 other educational seats in various law institutes of India. He found his place as the Principal of NBM Law College, Professor of WBNUJS, Principal of Lingaraj Law College, Dean, Faculty of Legal Studies (BU), Chairman, Board of Studies Law, BU among others. He has numerous publications and has been an active member of different academic, executive and financial councils of various institutions till date.

Dr. Alok Verma

He serves as Professor of Law at Amity University, Delhi (NCR) since last one decade. He is also the Programme Director of 5 years Law course (B.Com LL.B.) in Amity Law School, Noida. He is also the Stream Head of LL.M. courses of AUUP, Lucknow. Before this, he was serving (2007-2008) as an Attorney (TL) in a USA based LPO in Delhi. He also had a vast experience of Advocacy (2002-2006) at different courts in Delhi and other part of the country. He is an alumni of very prestigious Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He completed his doctorate on “Mediation”. He has recently awarded as a certified ADR law teacher for ADR courses from NLU, Bangalore. He has also successfully
completed various FDP organized by NLU, Delhi.

Prof. Verma has authored more than 10 research papers and 3 chapters in law books. He has also participated more than 30 National and International Conferences/Seminars/Symposium. As many as fifteen students have already completed master dissertations under his guidance. He is also the member of the Editorial Board of various national and international journals of repute.

Prof. Verma had been invited as a trainer in various prestigious training Programmes organized for the welfare of Armed Forces and Para-military forces time to time . He has also delivered lectures in various Govt. as well as Pvt. Training Institutes to the officers of different departments. As a part of the academic collaboration, he has made significant presentations to the managers of TATA motors on International Tax Issues several time.

Dr. Subhram Rajkhowa

Head of the Dept, Dean Department of Law Gauhati University, Guwahati. Prof Subhram Rajkhowa graduated from with Honours in Geography from Gauhati University. He obtained his Masters of Law from the Gauhati University with specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law and went on to obtain his Ph.D. in the Constitutional Law from the same University in the Year 1998.He resigned from the State Judicial Service to join the service, initially as a Lecturer and is presently holding the post of Professor at Gauhati University. In between, he served on an UNDP assignment as an Associate Professor at Addis Ababa University for a term. He is a visiting Professor in a couple of Universities and has been called upon to deliver lectures in a number of Universities across jurisdictions. Prof Rajkhowa has behind him a number of academic assignments within the country and abroad have visited several universities. He has a number of published books on Human Rights. His works include; Human Rights- A Reflection; Indigenous Peoples- A Quest for Justice, International Human Rights (6 volumes); Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (2 volumes) and Comparative Public Law. He has also contributed more than 70 research articles in the various foray and many of his research articles have been published in various reputed research law journals and books. He is the Editor of a couple of Journals and a member of Advisory Boards of Law Journals in published from different places in India University. He has produced seventeen Ph. D scholars till date and another six scholars are conducting research under his supervision. He has conducted a few research projects as well. Besides his academic assignments, he has contributed to grassroots level activities in the field of human rights and attended a number of programmes organized by the United Nations both as Geneva and New York. He is keenly involved with issues of Anti Personnel Landmines and Cluster Munitions as well as Small Arms and Light Weapons and is associated with several national and International nongovernmental Organisations like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Action Network for Small Arms, International Campaign to Ban Landmines, Indian Institute of Peace, Cooperation and Environmental Protection, Commonwealth Legal Education Association, Global Alliance for Justice Education, Global Education Law Forum, among others. He was a member of Independent Peoples Commission on Dams in Arunachal Pradesh and invited as an observer to the Presidential Elections in Sri Lanka. 

Dr. Zeinab Shawky Younis

Since February, 2016 she was appointed as the Director of the Research Center for Innovation, Governance and Green Economy and has been an elected Member of the Senate Committee at the level of the faculty. Dr. Zeinab Younis is specialized in teaching Organisational Behavior, Introduction to management, Leadership, Personal Effectiveness and Public Administration.

 

Dr. Syed Mohd Uzair Iqbal

Principal at Libra College of Law.

He obtained his BALLB (Hons) and LL.M (Criminal Law) from Aligarh Muslim University in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He did his PhD in 2014 from AMU Aligarh on the topic “Cyber Crime & Cyber Terrorism in India.” During PhD Program he also qualified
UGC NET in 2010 national eligibility test for lectureship. Before joining Libra College of Law he served at Al Yamamah University, Riyadh (KSA) and Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Centre (India) in the Department of Law.
Dr. Iqbal presented his research paper in national and international conferences/seminars and also published his articles in National and International level reputed journals.

Dr. Jaber Seyvanizad

Jaber Seyvanizad is a young international jurist serving in Iranian universities as international law lecturer. He has previously appointed as a researcher in International Law Institute. He got his LL.B in 2011 and met his LL.M with distinction in 2015 and commenced his Ph.D. in 2016. He is presently research & teaching assistant at SBU and serves as legal advisor of ICJ litigants. In his recent researches, he concentrates on engineering of international legal mechanisms in favor of global maintenance of justice-based peace and security and works on his own theory called “Reflexism” concerning the modern international law fundamentals. He has number of publications regarding international law of WMD, customary international law, outer space law, constitutional law and international law of media. His main research interests focus on areas including the futurology of international law, natural law, Islamic international law, international law of modern war and philosophy of international law. He is the top member of Iranian Elite Club. Jaber also has studied in seminary and specialized in Islamic law. Mr. Amrit Kharel,

Managing Partner, Juris Nepal Law Associates.

He is a faculty member of International and Commercial Law from Nepal. With specialization in legal research, professional consulting especially in the area of aviation, banking, insurance, financial derivatives, capital market, company law and international economic law, among others, he has been teaching in Nepal Law Campus and National Law College, affiliated with Tribhuvan University. He has wide experience of legal & research consulting to both governmental and private sector. He was coordinator of the committee of experts on regulation of commodity derivatives and future markets in Nepal, which was formed in 2012 by Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) as per the mandate from High Level Financial Sector Coordination Committee headed by Hon. Finance Minister, Government of Nepal. The research report of the committee submitted at High Level Financial Sector Coordination Committee to formulate regulatory framework of commodities future market provides a basic structural framework to introduce Commodity Derivatives Act and Regulation in Nepal. Mr. Kharel was also involved in legal research on behalf of the Revenue
Mobilization Special Committee in Fiscal Federalism led by economist Professor Dr. Madan Kumar Dahal, formed as a special committee under Revenue Advisory Committee, Ministry of Finance. He presented the final report on behalf of the Revenue Mobilization Sepecial Committee in Fiscal Federalism, in the Revenue Advisory Committee meeting dated 5 May 2017. Mr. Kharel has served as an independent expert director at Prime Life Insurance Co. Ltd, one of the leading life insurance company, affiliated with Khetan Group, one of the prestigious corporate group in Nepal. He has continuously been practicing corporate litigation at Supreme Court of Nepal for last six years. Beyond the legal profession, he has some nine years of prior experience in financial journalism especially in the role of editor in various national and international media. He was also the founder and President of the Nepalese Association of Financial Journalists (NAFIJ) in 2009. He has written several research reports, articles, presented papers, attended  various seminars on legal and commercial issues. He has conducted various training programmes on banking, investment, capital market and public relations in partnership with professional institutions including Nepal Bankers’ Association and Advertising Association of Nepal and such.

Dr. Farmonovich is head of the Tadqiqot e-portal, which works with internationally recognized scientific journals, and promotes the development of scientific practices. Tadqiqot publishing house is involved in the production of scientific publications, monographs, manuals, and the organization of scientific conferences.Shokhrud’s work focuses on improving and advising on scientific research processes, which has included running a number of seminars within the scientific community. He has worked with Crossref since 2017, promoting the use of digital identifiers for scholarly content, explaining the use and benefits of DOIs at scientific conferences and seminars in Central Asia. In addition to English, Shokhrud also speaks in Persian and Russian.
