BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA alongwithALL INDIA REPORTER LAW ACADEMY AND RESEARCH CENTRE (ALARC) is pleased to announce the launch of its maiden “Professional Development and Training Programme on Cyber Crime Investigation” in Pune on 3^rd September, 2019 at BVP’s New Law College Auditorium, Pune.

ALARC, under the aegis of ALL INDIA REPORTER PVT. LTD. NAGPUR, in association with the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA has to its credit a plethora of successful conduct of PDTP at Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai since past several years.

Dr. Harold D’Costa a well-known Cyber Security Expert will conduct the programme. He is a complete Code of Cyber law in himself.He is the:

• President, Cyber Security Corporation.
• Sr. Trainer, Judges and Public Prosecutors.
• Advisor to various Law Enforcement Agencies.

His credentials certainly speak volumes about his expertise, in depth knowledge, experience and command in the arena of cyber laws.

Summary

In the contemporary period of cyber-age, the utility of internet communication and digitalization is at all-time high. However, with the advent of this information technology, the attendant evils in the form of cyber-crime are also on rise. It is feared that the rate of cyber-crime will increase exponentially in 2019.

Needless to state, the victims shall be innocent users including students, professionals and home makers.

To address this issue, the speaker, Dr. D’Costa will enlighten the participants on the burning issues of digital data threat, hacking, phishing, etc. He will also provide insight to prevent and deal with the cyber-crime menace.

We are aware that the criminals wield mouse and cursors as weapons to perpetrate crimes instead of guns and knives. Hence, it is high time that we become vigilant and protect our cyber systems.

Note:Certificate of Participation will be provided by Bar Council of India – AIR (which carries a great significance) to all the participants.
