About the Young Lawyers’ Fellowship Programme
The Young Lawyers’ Fellowship is India’s only-of-its-kind criminal law fellowship program for early to mid-career lawyers as well as passionate law students interested in pursuing criminal law practice and/or understanding the Indian criminal justice system in motion.
The fellowship is a one-year program with a contemporary curriculum formulated by India’s leading criminal law practitioners, academicians and legal experts.
The Young Lawyers’ Fellowship is the only of its kind program. The innovative pedagogy for the fellowship program includes workshops, boot camps, live emulation of trial court practices and procedures as well as those of appellate courts, live interaction with leading criminal law practitioners and judges. By combining academic rigor with top-notch curriculum design and industry exposure, the fellowship shall enable all takers to not only hone their abilities and skills but also thrive in the ever-evolving criminal justice landscape.
The Young Lawyers’ Fellowship program shall be a bridge between the world of learning and the world of practice.
Tuition Fee
The tution fee for one year is INR 2,20,000/-. However, to all selected applicants, a scholarship of Rs. 2,10,000/- is being offered for the year 2022-2023.
Fellowship Duration
The Young Lawyers’ Fellowship is a one year course. It will commence in February 2022 and conclude in January 2023.
