What:

First Mr. and Ms. International Law Competition

The Competition “Mr. and Ms. International Law”  will consist of three rounds. Each of
the rounds will be evaluated by the judges and it is important for the final assessment of the individuals’ standings.

The Competition will consist of the three rounds: Preliminary Round (MCQ) Semi-final
Round (Debate) and Final Round (Buzzer Round).

When:

Wednesday, February 28th, 2018

Venue:

Law Centre II, Faculty of Law, Umang Bhawan North Campus, University of Delhi

Eligibility:

Only the bona fide students pursuing LL.B in Three Year/Five Year Degree Programmes in any Law School in Delhi and NCR, during the current academic year are eligible to participate.

Medium of Communication:

Working language of the Competition is English.

Team Composition:

The maximum number of participants from one Law School shall be two, one male and one female. Individual participations are also allowed.

Registration:

Complete registration form (Performa attached) for participation should be sent to the Organizational Committee (OC) latest by 27th Jan.2018. It must enclose the following details.

• Registration Form with all required details and duly signed and forwarded by the authorized person for Team/students (Maximum two students, one male and one female)
• Written consent of the authorized university representative (Principal/Dean of Faculty/ Head of the Department) for the team’s participation in the Competition is mandatory.
• Draft for Rupees 1500 (fifteen hundred) for team (two students, one male and one female) and Rupees 800(eight hundred) for individual entry should be sent in the name of Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi.
• The registration fee is non-refundable. The registration fee covers expenses for participation in the Competition including refreshment/ tea etc

Deadline for the confirmation of participation, payment of the registration fee etc is to be adhered strictly. The teams that fail to confirm their participation before this date or fail to pay the registration fee, will be not allowed to participate in the Competition

Instructions for Payment:

Draft for Rupees 1500 (fifteen hundred) for team (two students, one male and one female) and Rupees 800(eight hundred) for individual entry should be sent in the name of Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi.

The Draft has to be sent to PIC, Law Centre II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Chhatra Marg, Delhi-110007.

Prizes:

Mr. and Ms. International Law: Trophy, Cash prize, book and certificate

First runner up (male): Trophy, book and certificate

First runner up (female): Trophy, book and certificate

Second runner up (male): Trophy, book and certificate

Second runner up (female): Trophy, book and certificate

Cash Prizes of Rs. 5000 will be awarded to Mr. and Ms. International Law individually.

All participants will receive Certificate of Participation.

Amount: Rs 1500 for Team (one male and one female), Rs 800 for individual participant.
