
Scholarship of Holland
The Dutch Ministry of Education finances the Holland Scholarship. Holland Scholarships is offered by the University Of Groningen to international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue their master’s in Holland. EEA (consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Students belonging to Switzerland and Suriname are not eligible to apply.
Amount | A scholarship of €5,000 to contribute to the living costs of students in The Netherlands. Students will receive this in the first year of their studies. |

Of Selection |
After a careful evaluation of the applicant’s academic merit (i.e. results obtained in study programme, academic research activities, overall evaluation of previous education etc.) and of the candidates’ Holland Scholarship motivational statements ranking of candidates will be made. |
How to Apply | A student can apply for the scholarship after they have received an admission offer from the University of Groningen.
Fill out this form to apply for the Holland Scholarship. First call’s Deadline – 1st February 2019, (23:59 CEST) All applicants for the second call will be placed on the reserve list. Apply for this 2nd call between 2nd February 2019 and 1st May 2019 (23:59 CEST). A student can apply for either the 1st or 2nd call. |
