Recruitment of Indian Army 2019  of JAG Entry Scheme 23rd Course October 2019 Short Service Commission (NT) Course. This is for Law Graduates (Men and Women).

Applications are invited from unmarried Female and married/unmarried Male. Indian National candidates are going to be selected for the  Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Department. The Online Registration of application is open from 16th January 2019 at 12:00 Hours and will close on 14th February 2019 at 12:00 Hours.

Educational Qualification:

Min. 55% aggregate Marks in LLB Degree (3 years professional course after graduation or 5 years course after 10+2 examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration with BCI. Candidate should have been studied from a College/ University recognized by BCI.

Method of Selection: 

(a) Shortlisting of Applications Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off the percentage of marks without assigning any reason. The Centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email, after shortlisting the candidates. Candidates have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates on a first come first served basis, through the link forwarded via email, after allotment of Selection Centre.

(b) The Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer will meet only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut off percentage will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad(UP), Bhopal(MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB). Call up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centre on candidates registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of DG Rtg, IHQ of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes are entertained in this regard.

(c) Candidates will go through a two-stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Candidates who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day.  five days are going to be the duration of SSB interviews and details of the same are available at official website. Candidates who get recommended after Stage II will be followed by a medical examination.

(d) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued joining letter for training in the order of merit depending on the number of vacancies available.
