Conference Objectives

Human is a social animal and law is made to guide the behavior of humans, society and nation at large. It is therefore important to uncover the linkage that exists between law and behavior. Human behavior is complex and needs to be guided by various laws prevalent in the country. However many times it is the behavior itself which makes it difficult for the laws to be observed in the true spirit. This conference thus aims to provide a platform to discuss the issues which originate from the relationship that exists between the legal system, legal processes, and behavior exercised at human, social and organizational level by applying knowledge derived from the field of psychology, social psychology, sociology and anthropology and amalgamating such knowledge with the knowledge of law. The conference aims at addressing the challenges in the area and discovering the opportunities to apply behavioral science for better formulation, implementation and administration of law. The conference also intends to recognize the scope offered by recent progress towards digitization to further explore how knowledge of both behavior and law and implication of such knowledge can lead it to the right direction. Thus this inter disciplinary conference provides an opportunity to academicians, research scholars, students from varied fields including Media, Information Technology, Commerce and Law to come together and share their knowledge in light of the themes and sub-themes of the conference.
